Howie and Sons Pizza: Exceptional Pizza Experience in Visalia

Calm, chill. Good pizza. Beer good. Yes! Main road but also chill. Good atmosphere.

This has been our favorite pizza for many years, I want to say about 20. Even when we moved to Oregon our first stop when we visited was Howie’s, now that we live an hour away every time we’re in the area this is our go—to, the pizza is amazing and we’re always encouraging others to try it if they haven’t and by far everyone who does loves it! However I must say their service has gone down hill extremely, yesterday we went in around 5 and the two female employees were just standing in the corner talking while all the tables were dirty, we cleaned our own table. We tried to order gizzards (those are so good too btw!) and she gave us a weird answer like something about they had to be defrosted and that would take over an hour-which ok I understand, but it’s 5pm, how come there wasn’t a batch already deforested!? She charged us we paid and then she went back to her corner in the kitchen to continue talking instead of cleaning tables or hey maybe even defrosting a few gizzards for other costumers who might want some. I’m not discouraging anyone to not try the pizza because you should! I just really hope management works on their employees because they’re making this business look bad.

Wasn't busy. Missed the old arcade games they were fun. Loved sharing those with my kids. Food was good. I never like the pizza but this time something was different so much better. But every one has their different taste buds. Definitely will go again.

Pizza is delicious, wings were hella good, Lots of local beers on tap. Been coming here for 3 plus years, definitely recommend!

Surprisingly really good pizza however it is violently greasy just like (my ex wife) Personally I really despise extra Greasy pizza(but not my women). So I had to use napkins to remove the grease it however the flavor is amazing and the undercarriage is incredible I will be coming back to try some more distinct and unique flavors they have here However I would like to bring up that the first experience I had here was rather bad But I decided to give it a second chance Even though it took me like a year to muster up the courage again

Took the family out to Howie & Son’s Pizza Parlor in Visalia and, as always, it did not disappoint. We ordered the Big Howie Special, which comes with a massive Howie sized pizza, perfectly crispy mojos, and believe it or not, some of the best fried chicken in town. I know, you don’t usually expect top tier fried chicken from a pizza spot... but try it and tell me I’m wrong. As a craft beer enthusiast, I was seriously impressed by their tap selection. For a pizza joint to have what seemed like over 20 beers on tap, that’s next level. You can grab a great brew to pair with your slice, and that just elevates the whole experience. On top of all that, the customer service is always outstanding. They’ve consistently treated me and my family with kindness and care, which goes a long way in my book. I’ll absolutely continue supporting this fantastic, family owned gem. Do yourself a favor and check it out, you might just find your new go to spot.

All around great time. They have a buttery crust. The potatoes was seasoned a lot better than I expected. I'm looking forward to going back.

This pizza is simply the best in Visalia. Also, the gizzards and jalapeño poppers are 5 star. Get the combination big howie, totally worth it!
